Carmelo Caruana is the local liner agent of CMA-CGM, one of the world’s leading container lines, which uses Malta as its main hub in the Mediterranean. We also represent Delmas, which forms part of CMA-CGM group.

CMA-CGM, which has a fleet of 396 vessels, calls at Malta directly and regularly from most major ports, with an annual transshipment of some 1.5 million containers. Only last year, it transported 7.9 million TEUs, highlighting the flexibility and vast number of ports of call – over 400 – that we can service through such a large shipping line. Transit times are rapid, with a guaranteed weekly frequency from major ports.

Services rendered to the lines include import, export, container control and relay, as well as commercial representation.
